By using AuraQuill, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.
Eligibility and account use
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Acceptable use
- Do not use AuraQuill for unlawful activity or to violate others' rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt service availability, security, or platform integrity.
- Do not upload or process content you do not have the right to use.
Your content
You retain ownership of your content.
You grant AuraQuill a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve the service.
You may request deletion of your content and account as described in our Privacy Policy.
Service availability
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but uptime is not guaranteed.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve performance, security, or compliance.
Liability and updates
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuraQuill is provided on an as-is basis.
We may update these terms over time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
This Cancellation & Refund Policy is in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and applicable RBI regulations for payment services.
Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your AuraQuill subscription at any time by logging into your account and navigating to Account Settings > Subscription, or by contacting our support team at support@auraquill.app.
- Cancellation requests are processed within 2-3 business days.
- Upon cancellation, your access to premium features will be suspended at the end of your billing cycle.
- You will retain access to your notes and can export them in standard formats before your access expires.
- Cancellations must be requested directly through the platform or via email - phone or verbal requests will require written confirmation via email.
Refund Eligibility
- Refunds for subscription charges are eligible within 5 days of the transaction date, provided the refund request is submitted before using premium features extensively.
- If you have actively used premium features (transcription, advanced organization, or collaboration tools) for more than 25% of the billing period, refunds may not be applicable.
- Refunds will not be issued for duplicate or accidental charges; instead, credits will be applied to your account for future billing cycles.
- Subscription renewals are non-refundable after the renewal period commences unless due to a service defect or failure.
- Annual subscription plans are non-refundable except in cases of non-performance or service unavailability exceeding 30 consecutive days.
Refund Process
- To request a refund, contact our support team at support@auraquill.app with your account email and transaction details.
- Include the reason for the refund request and any relevant order or transaction IDs.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 5 days of the transaction date to be eligible.
- Our support team will verify your eligibility and process the refund within 5-7 business days of approval.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. If the original method is unavailable, we will work with you to arrange an alternative method.
Refund Timeline & Method
- Approved refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after verification.
- Bank transfers may require an additional 1-3 working days to reflect in your account depending on your bank's processing time.
- Credit card refunds appear as credits on your card statement within 1-2 billing cycles.
- Digital wallet refunds are processed to your wallet account within 2-3 business days.
- You will receive email confirmation of the refund status at each stage of processing.
Non-Refundable Items
- Service upgrades, feature unlocks, or one-time purchases made outside of subscription plans are non-refundable once activated.
- Promotional credits or discount codes cannot be refunded to cash; they can only be used for future purchases.
- Charges for content created or downloaded by the user are non-refundable.
- API usage charges once incurred are non-refundable.
Service Defects & Refund Rights
- If the service is unavailable or non-functional for more than 24 consecutive hours due to AuraQuill's service failure, you may be eligible for a prorated refund or account credit.
- Refunds for service defects will be calculated based on the number of days the service was unavailable during your billing period.
- If transcription services fail to function and cannot be restored within 48 hours of a support request, a partial refund may be issued.
- Service defects do not include issues caused by your internet connectivity, device compatibility, or unauthorized account access.
Your Consumer Rights
- Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (email: complaints@ncrconsumers.org or call 1800-11-4000) if you believe your rights have been violated.
- You may escalate unresolved refund disputes to the Consumer Grievance Redressal Officer at support@auraquill.app.
- All refund disputes will be resolved within 30 days of notification.
- In case of payment fraud or unauthorized charges, you may initiate a chargeback through your bank or payment provider.

Policy Updates
- This Cancellation & Refund Policy is subject to change at AuraQuill's discretion to comply with applicable laws.
- Changes will be posted on this page with an updated 'Last Updated' date.
- Your continued use of AuraQuill after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- If you have an active subscription when the policy changes, the updated policy will apply from your next billing cycle onwards unless you cancel before then.
